Due to internal progression, we have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our team!

Our Wills and Probate Apprentice Administrator will receive training and will be expected to have a high degree of self-management and initiative to manage a varied workload.

Seven hours a week will be allocated for attending Loughborough College, and for homework. During the remainder of the week.

The successful candidate will provide the following: Main Responsibilities

• To deal with incoming telephone enquiries for the department Make appointments for the team Create new appointment packs

• Scan and distribute incoming post for the department (when the operations apprentice is on holiday);

• Send e-mails, and e-mail documents when appropriate; Prepare post, including franking and enclosures for dispatch;

• Check the Certainty Register to locate Wills of individuals To cover reception lunch once a week for half an hour, and on occasion during annual leave or absence of receptionist.

• Assisting fee earners and secretaries with photocopying large amounts of documents;

• To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and clients' documentation and information;

• To comply with the terms of the Office Manual and any other reasonable request that may be made by the Head of Department or another Partner.

The above does not constitute an exhaustive list of duties. The post holder may be required to perform any reasonable tasks commensurate with the role and level of responsibility at the request of the Directors.

Apprenticeship: You will be working towards a Business Administration level 3 apprenticeship with Loughborough College: The apprenticeship lasts between 15 and 18 months. 20% of your week will be allocated to off the jobs tasks.

These may include: studying, working with another department, or helping at an event.

College meetings are remote, however there will be a 12 week learning block where you will be expected to attend the college every other week for 12 weeks (6 afternoons). All other learning/meetings are remote. The HR & Office Manager will support you, working with you and the college to ensure your success. You will have an allocated buddy who has recently completed the apprenticeship and can help with queries.

Entry requirements: 4 GSCE's at Grade 4/C or above including English. Recommended for over 18s only.

Skills, Qualifications and experience required for this role:

• This apprenticeship is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 Experience of working in an administrative role desirable

• A highly organised approach and the ability to prioritise;

• A high level of attention to detail; A can do attitude;

• An ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently; Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written); Adept with Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook.
