As the backbone of office operations, the Office Administrator will be entrusted with a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth running of daily activities. This part-time role, with hours spread across Monday to Friday, allows for a work-life balance that is often sought but seldom found in today's fast-paced business world.
The ideal candidate will be the lynchpin of efficiency, with a flair for organisation and an eye for detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to.
- Accurately maintain the database of leisure assets, inspection bodies and leisure sites in line with company policies.
- Prepare and issue regular management reports.
- Regularly communicate with the General Manager to understand the business needs and priorities, and proactively provide support accordingly. This may involve anticipating potential challenges and offering solutions in advance.
- Initial contact for all new and existing contacts.
- Ensuring the timely and efficient processing of any new applications
- Manage the assurance activity schedule, company CPD Programme and annual subscription payments for company members.
- Represent the company at important leisure events with expected time away from the main office.
- Provide additional ad-hoc support to management as and when required.
- Undertake general daily administration duties, general office support and maintenance, post, booking travel & accommodation for colleagues, answering calls and responding to emails.
Candidates should possess.
- Proven experience as an office administrator or relevant role
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills-
- A qualification in Business or Office administration or relevant field is preferred.
- Experience working within a quality management system (ISO 9001) (Desirable)
- Leisure industry experience and knowledge of leisure industry standards (Desirable)
