The Wedding Open Day will take place at The Lyric Rooms, 17 Lower Church Street, from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, 20 January. You can see the Lyric Rooms set up for a wedding and meet the team at the popular, family run Ashby venue.

The open day is the perfect opportunity to view the venue and find out about the various wedding options available, which include complete packages, from the ceremony and wedding breakfast to the evening reception.

Matt and Vanessa Perkins, who run the Lyric Rooms together with their daughters Celleste and Fleur, will bring the personal touch to planning your big day. They are passionate about bringing your dream wedding to life.

The family has transformed The Lyric Rooms into a beautiful, stylish venue, the perfect setting for a wedding. Come and see it for yourself on Saturday afternoon.

The Lyric Rooms underwent a transformation last year and now has new décor and flooring throughout, complete with chandeliers, bespoke drapes and twinkling lights.

Matt said: "We have a fabulous and friendly team of staff who have all played a big role in helping to make the venue what it is today."

The Lyric Rooms is perfect for large events and can host up to 150 wedding guests.

Matt added: "We can cater to your specific event requirements, whether it's canapés, vintage afternoon tea, snacks, a buffet, a full sit down meal or something a little more bespoke."

The Lyric Rooms offers a personalised themed cocktail menu, well stocked gin and wine bar and wine cellar with competitive pricing, a galleried bar area, as well as main room seating, dance floor and stage area.

You can also choose to have your wedding ceremony in the beautiful, historic Old School Room, now licensed for civil ceremonies.
